First Reply (firstreply.uk) is a small tool for UK service businesses. This note explains what we collect and why — in plain English.
What we collect
- Business profile — services, prices, tone, exclusions, and similar details you enter. Kept in your browser (local storage) so you don't re-brief every time. We do not run a user account database yet.
- Session cookie — a signed cookie marks free-trial use and founding access so the paywall works. It is httpOnly and not for ads tracking.
- Enquiry text — when you generate replies, the enquiry (and your profile) is sent to our language model provider for that request only. We do not keep enquiry bodies after the generation finishes.
- Payments — card and billing details are handled by Stripe. We receive payment confirmation so we can unlock access; we do not store your full card number.
LLM processing
Replies are generated via OpenRouter (which routes to the configured model). Profile and enquiry text leave your browser for that API call so we can produce drafts. Treat sensitive customer data carefully — don't paste anything you wouldn't send to a normal email provider.
Cookies
We use an essential session cookie for access and trial state. Clearing site cookies resets that session (including paid unlock on this browser until you redeem again or check out again).
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal or business data.
- We don't use your enquiries to train our own models.
- We don't require an account email just to try the tool.
How to clear your data
In your browser settings, clear cookies and site data for firstreply.uk (and local storage). That removes your saved profile and session on that device. Stripe retains payment records as required for their service and UK tax rules.

This is a short honest note for a founding MVP, not a full legal policy. If we add accounts or server-side profile storage, we'll update this page.
